The projected shadowed form, a void of hungering appetite wrapped in black robes shrank back from his anger but said nothing.
“Nothing to say? Of what use are you to my house then, witch? If you cannot see that the Emperor’s own scrying eyes upon this mission?”
Bandage wrapped hands lowered the robe’s hood then, revealing a beauty of a Zindari face, crimson and gold and violet, high cheekbones, and knife like ears, giant dow eyes of molten gold. Marred somewhat by the melted flesh of one side of the face, half beauty and half decay.
